Together with our dear friend Anne at Fleurish, we put together something sweet to say “I appreciate you” through a small gesture of flowers and handcrafted goods, gathered with care. Flowers hold a sentiment that is felt, and in Anne’s hands they come together with a gentle balance that always feels just right.
In addition to celebrating mothers and mother-figures in our lives, we want to take the opportunity to think of those experiencing a different kind of Mother’s Day. While this is a beautiful occasion for many, it can be challenging and emotional for others. We are thinking of all the stand-in moms, moms who have lost a child, those without and mourning their moms, trans moms, those in difficult relationships with their moms, single parents, caregivers, first-time moms, step moms, those who long to be mothers and those who have chosen not be a mother and fur baby moms.
